    I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised with these ink cartridges. I have tried other "off brand" in the past and never had much luck… so this purchase was done with fingers crossed! In the past, other 'off brand' were a compatibility problem and the printer refused to accept them and the 'Error Messages' just kept coming. BUT – these were a breeze – NO problems at all and they have been working beautifully from the moment I installed them. I would recommend these cartridges without hesitation – Thanks!

    Very simply, these worked. Granted, the first time we tried them, the printer gave us an error message that these were not HP inks, and were blocked. You may or may not get that message depending on the printer. The reason lies with HP, and over time they have included this blocking in firmware updates over time, so that if your printer is "up to date" with firmware, you may get this message. It is a despicable tactic from HP to force you to use their overpriced ink. So the solution was simple, and what I would suggest. I simply went into the printer settings and reset it to defaults. I think I had to reenter the wifi password, but that is the only thing. Next, in the printer settings you should find a choice to automatically install firmware updates, and I turned that OFF. Voila. Now when I installed these cartridges, I got a message that they were not HP, but they are not blocked. I printed out some tests, and they printed very well, crystal clear and vibrant colors. Recommended.

    HP has made sure ONLY these work.
    They produce print on paper.
    Do not get your documents wet, because the water soluble ink will smear and drip right off.
    Economy priced cartridges can brick your printer, and turn it into a big dust collector.

    I am SO DONE with HP, and cartridge type inkjets.
