Note this is my first smart watch and also my first fitness tracker.
The heartbeat monitor is what I bought it for and while I haven’t vetted its accuracy, it’s a baseline. One day I’ll compare it with another heartbeat monitor to see, mine runs a bit high and the manual says +/- 20 bpm so don’t expect huge accuracy. But if you wear it the same way it’s a reference point.
Everything else is really solid. I was pleasantly surprised to see the sleep tracking hours worked correctly on the first night despite some interrupted patterns. It keeps records and tracks heartbeat and the on demand activity tracker works well. The app has some translation funnies but is surprisingly robust; expect a few English issues but everything seems extremely well engineered. It does screen on based on just looking, has good watch faces, informational, pedometer seems good, etc. Getting important emails, texts, etc. at a wrist glance is nice and the phone finder mostly works (on Android 12).
One day I’ll buy a Fitbit but for me this was $15 and a 5 star value proposition.
