Just received the Kawaye Comfort Head Strap for my Meta Quest 2, and I’m honestly amazed at the difference it’s made! The adjustable design is easy to customize for the perfect fit, and the cotton back pad feels soft but supportive, reducing the pressure on my head that I used to feel with the standard strap. It really enhances comfort, especially during long VR sessions. The build quality is solid, and it gives the headset a more premium feel compared to the original strap. Plus, it makes the Quest much easier to wear without it slipping or feeling too tight.

I'm really pleased with this headset. It looks and feels to be of comparable quality construction as the Quest itself, doesn't look like some cheap add on.

There are very clear written instructions in a few languages well translated. The only step that was unclear was orientation of the top strap (one 'leg' is longer than the other – which goes forward). It seems like it can go either way and actually adds some flexibility to try 2 positions which best fits your head (for mine, the pad is farther forward). They might want to mention that in the instructions.

The pads have a decent soft texture slightly rubbery/silicone feeling and very supple. Hopefully they are durable, but they are only touching your hair, not face, so shouldn't be much problem.

All the forehead pressure I had getting the stock straps to fit right is gone. It feels so light and balanced on my head now.

The adjustment knob makes securing the headset so much easier and with both soft pads It really does help keeping the viewer in place staying in focus.

Easy to attach by unsnapping the side panel covers with the straps, snapping in the new side covers then attaching the pivot / hinge using screws and screwdriver included.

“The 55° flippable hinge lets you quickly lift the headset”
I think I misunderstood this, the hinge allows the back to flip up to easy put on or take off the headset without readjusting. I expected it to flip up like a welding mask unfortunately the top strap becomes loose and the head set will still slide down anyway. I can rotate the entire headset up and carefully balance it on top of my head.

Overall I find it much better then the original and very conformable.

This VR replacement band is solid – good quality, with the right hardware to mount on either the Quest 2 or 3. The construction is good. It's reasonably lightweight. And it's comfortable! It also makes getting the headset on and off – as well as sized correctly – much faster and easier. If you share your headset between multiple people, I suspect you'll really appreciate that. If you spend long hours in the headset, having a better fit (that doesn't drift as much as a plan strap) will also be something you appreciate for a very reasonable one-time cost.

Do note that this product makes the hard part of the band that attaches to the headset longer. This might mean, if you have large or oddly-placed ears (oh hi), that your ears might brush against the hard plastic. Definitely unpleasant. Only happens to me in certain positions, but it's a bit of a bummer.

It's easy enough to replace the band, but the instructions miss several steps if you've never disassembled a Quest headset before. It's nothing that a quick online search can't solve, but if you're going to include instructions… make them decent!

I used to always get headaches playing my VR but this has put them so a stop. They are very comfortable and easier to take on and off. Only complaint was that the original stapes my wife could have her pony tail threw the strap but this does not allow her to, she has to have a side pony tail or loose hair. Just something to mention for the women. But nothing to loose stars over.

I got this for my Quest 2 that still had the basic elastic straps and it's a great upgrade! My husband uses the vr headset several times a week for "alternative to the gym" games (Pistol Whip, Beatsaber, etc) and this has been a huge improvement!

It did take him a little bit to get used to but mostly because he's been using the basic one so long. He really likes how comfortable it is and it wasn't hard to adjust. It was easy to put together and its much easier for him to put it on and take off the headset.

I definitely recommend it!

I got this for my Quest 3 and it is a ton better than the stock strap. Adjustment is much easier with the knob at the back, and it holds on to your head better. I haven't figured out my perfect setup for it yet (head strap length, tightness, etc) but it's still immensely more comfortable than what came with the headset. It was super easy to install, and it takes a little assembly to attach the correct mounts for whether you have a Quest 2 or 3. It's just 6 little screws, it comes with a couple extra just in case, and a screwdriver. Even if I could think of something specific to complain about, for a little over 20 bucks, you really can't go wrong. If you hate it, you're not out $60 or more for one of the fancy ones.
