I started using this phone very cautiously, because it is an off-brand and relatively unknown; but I was pleasantly surprised.
It is a nice touch that the phone comes almost fully-charged, with its own screen protector, and with its own case. The other nice touch is that this phone does not include any annoying/unwanted apps.
The sound quality during calls is very good. The sound quality of media player is remarkable. The screen is only 720×1600, but quick-acting, clear, and sharp. The face-recognition, and fingerprint-recognition, work almost flawlessly. The camera works well, and produces impressive pictures. The data transfer speed is pretty good. The fact that it only goes as high as 4G is not an issue, because 5G in this area is very spotty. With moderate use, the battery lasts two days.
Initially, I had a hard time removing the back plate protector, and I was ready to return the phone. Promptly, someone from Ulefone Customer Service wrote to me, and methodically resolved the issue.
All told, this is a full-featured and high-quality smartphone.

I didn’t expect this phone to be exceptional, but I don’t need a lot. All I’m looking for is something reliable for communication. Texting is fine…mostly. Call quality, however, is horrible. There will be stretches in calls where the sound drops out completely and I have spent more time since getting this phone saying, “Sorry, can you repeat that?” than saying anything useful. Lately, if the call even connects, it’s so static and spotty that I’ve just given up trying to call anyone. Will be switching back to my old phone, whose issues suddenly seem far less egregious. The battery life is also pretty bad. If I am doing ANYTHING with the phone it will not make it an entire day without needing a recharge. And that’s IF it actually charges. There have been multiple times I’ve plugged it in at night, noted the charging symbol, but it is practically dead or completely dead in the morning. The screen doesn’t get very bright, and if I put the brightness up all the way it drains the battery even quicker. Camera is…eh. Not the worst, but don’t expect to be taking any award-winning photos. I’ve had other brands of cheap phones before so I hoped this would be manageable, but I’ll not be investing in this brand anymore.

I originally purchased the Note 6 for my 6 year old for games. We were not happy with that purchase mainly due to speed and a child with no patience! I reached out to the company and they suggested the note 14. I returned the note 6 purchased the 16 since there was not a huge price difference between that and the 14. We had a little difficulty getting it set up, but I reached back out to the company by email and Jeannie was so supportive and helpful the WHOLE time! She was definitely very supportive and helped ease all of my frustration. Great customer service through the whole process and we are very happy and pleased with our new device!!
